From college football to government contracting, this is how I founded NOMYAD.

Sparked by a Conversation

Nomyad LLC unofficially began in September 2020, started by me, Daymon “Day” Cantave after a transition from the world of college football to government contracting sparked by a conversation in the very penthouse where the famous movie War Dogs was filmed.

Sparked by a conversation in the very penthouse where the famous movie War Dogs was filmed.

October 2020
I Begin Work

I soon began work as a government buyer for 2Lyons Aerospace, quickly helping the company pass seven figures in revenue.

2021
Increase of Clients

Various business owners and firms came to the company’s owner and my father Mike Cantave for guidance. Mike was often busy with the task of business development so Day was the next best thing when it came to a knowledge of doing business with DLA and setting up the required infrastructure to be successful in the space.

August 2021
NOMYAD Was Founded

News of the 20 year old college student and private pilot helping companies do business with DLA began to circulate, and the list of clients steadily expanded.

Steadily Growing

Since then Day has done over seven figures in sales for 2Lyons Aerospace, handled the company’s shipping, packaging, logistics and even invoicing the government for funds.

NOMYAD by the Numbers

I have doubled the annual amount of DLA awards every year since he began in late 2020 and is on track to do so again in 2023. I have also been a contract manager for 2 other companies doing business with 2Lyons Aerospace resulting in 23 awards.
